Naked man chops off his penis with kitchen knife in street
A naked man chopped off his penis with a kitchen knife in the street in front of horrified onlookers.
The distressed 43-year-old ran down a road before he cut himself and went back into a property.
Police said: “Officers gained entry and found it necessary to restrain him to carry out first aid.”
The man, of Penryn, Cornwall, was taken to hospital on Friday evening with serious injuries that were not life threatening.
It is thought he may have mental health issues.
